NOAH PART 4: Read the Bible with Amanda Grace
HIGHLIGHTS:
Where we left off the Ark has settled on Mt Ararat.
The ark settled on mt Ararat on 7/17.
The mountains tops become visible on 10/1.
This 7 month 17 day is a time where we see the Lord do very
significant things.
Exodus 3:18-20:
The elders
[of the tribes] will listen and pay attention to what you say;
and you, with the elders of Israel, shall go to the king of Egypt and you shall
say to him, ‘The Lord, the God of the Hebrews,
has met with us; so now, please, [we ask and plead with you,] let us go on a
three days’ journey into the wilderness, so that we may sacrifice to the Lord our
God.’ 19 But I know that the king of Egypt will not let you go unless
[he is forced] by a strong hand. 20 So I will
reach out My hand and strike Egypt with all My wonders which I shall do in the
midst of it; and after that he will let you go.The 10 plagues are called forth to force
pharaoh’s hand. They set out on the 14th of Nisan
PASSOVER from Egypt and they come to Succoth.
Exodus 13:20-22:
So they
took their journey from Succoth and camped in Etham at the edge of the
wilderness. 21 And the Lord went
before them by day in a pillar of cloud to lead the way, and by night in a
pillar of fire to give them light, so as to go by day and night. 22 He did not take away the pillar of cloud by day or the pillar
of fire by night from before the people.
Set out from Succoth:
Succoth
is the 14th of Nisan which is the 7th month
on the Hebrew Calendar during Noah's time.
The
14th day of that month is Passover and 7/17 is the feast of
first fruits.
Camped in Etham:
15th of Nisan is when they camped
at Etham.
Exodus 14:1-4:
Now
the Lord spoke to Moses, saying: 2 “Speak to the children of Israel, that they turn and
camp before Pi Hahiroth, between Migdol and the sea, opposite Baal
Zephon; you shall camp before it by the sea. 3 For Pharaoh will say of the children of
Israel, ‘They are bewildered by the land; the wilderness
has closed
them in.’ 4 Then I
will harden Pharaoh’s heart, so that he will pursue them; and I will gain
honor over Pharaoh and over all his army, that the Egyptians may know that
I am the Lord.” And they did so.
So this is a trap set By the lord because it is made “to
look” as if the Jews are confused, wandering aimlessly around, basically
sitting ducks. It is meant By God to bait Pharaoh into pursuing them.
KEY POINTS:
Pi Hahiroth was the 16th of Nisan.
Red Sea Area was the 17th of Nisan so on 7/17
Nisan the 7th month, the 7th day , this is the day the
Ark came to rest on Mt Ararat.
This is also the day that the Red Sea Parted!
So as we can see there is a crucial large scale saving event
that happens for the people of God on the 7th of Nisan 7/17.
Leviticus 23:9-11:
And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, 10 “Speak to the children of
Israel, and say to them: ‘When you come into the land which I give to you,
and reap its harvest, then you shall bring a sheaf of the first fruits of
your harvest to the priest. 11 He shall wave the sheaf
before the Lord, to be accepted on your
behalf; on the day after the Sabbath the priest shall wave it.
Lets cross reference the New Testament
There was an incredibly significant
event that happened on first fruits.
Jesus was raised from the dead!
He was crucified on Passover and 3
days later raised from the dead on the feast of first fruits! So we see a pattern, VERY
significant events happen on first fruits:The ark comes to rest of Mt Ararat! The red sea parted! The Jews receive the promised land
fully after the manna had ceased, Joshua 5.
Esther holds that banquet for King
Ahaseurus and exposes Haman's wicked plot and is operated through by God to
save her people. Haman is hanged on first fruits Esther 5
Jesus was raised from the dead.
These are all events that happened
on 7/17, Nisan the 17th day the Ark resting on the mountain. So through the Ark resting on Mt
Ararat 7/17. Nisan, the 7th which after Moses becomes the first month
however the 17th day remains first fruits, month the Lord established
a precedent that would go forth through the Bible into the new testament. That first fruits would be a day when the Lord thy God did miraculous, delivering,
miracles for His people!
Genesis 8:6-7:
Noah sends out the Raven
So it came to pass, at the
end of forty days, that Noah opened the window of the ark which he had
made. 7 Then he sent out a raven,
which kept going to and fro until the waters had dried up from the earth.
So
this raven kind of flies here and there until the waters dried up and the raven
does not return.
Genesis 8:8-9:
Noah sends out the dove!
Then Noah sent out a dove to
see if the water level had fallen below the surface of the land. 9 But the dove found no place
on which to rest the sole of her foot, and she returned to him to the ark, for
the waters were [still] on the face of the entire earth. So he reached out his
hand and took the dove, and brought her into the ark. Okay so this is the 1st sending of the dove: It Hovers BUT finds NO REST This
is VERY Significant because this points to Genesis 1:2!
Genesis
1:2:
The earth was [a]formless
and void or a waste and emptiness, and darkness was upon the
face of the deep [primeval ocean that covered the unformed earth]. The Spirit
of God (The Ruach Elohim) was moving
(hovering, brooding) over the face of the waters. The Spirit of God, the Holy
Spirit, is hovering over the waters and has no place to land. Who is the Spirit of the
Lord? The Holy Spirit!
Luke 3:22
And the Holy Spirit
descended upon Him in bodily form like a dove, and a voice came from heaven,
saying, You are My Son, My Beloved! In You I am well pleased and find delight!
So the Dove being sent out to HOVER and find NO REST
IS the 1st day of Creation!
Genesis 8:10-11:
The second sending out of the Dove. He
waited another seven days and again sent the dove out from the ark. 11 The dove came back to him in the evening, and there, in her
beak, was a fresh olive leaf. So Noah knew that the water level had subsided
from the earth. So Noah waits 7 days before
sending out the Dove for round 2
So the Dove actually lands this
time on a branch of an olive tree because the dove at evening brings back a
freshly plucked olive leaf. So the second Dove lands on a
branch and then plucks or breaks off a leaf from that branch. So if we look in the Old
testament and go to Isaiah 11:1.
Then
a Shoot (the Messiah) will spring from the stock of Jesse [David’s father],
And a Branch from his roots will bear fruit. Now in Hebrew the word BRANCH is NETZER.
And a Branch from his roots will bear fruit. Now in Hebrew the word BRANCH is NETZER.
NOTE-Cross
reference the new testament in 2 places:
Matthew 2:23:
And went and settled in a city called Nazareth. This was to
fulfill what was spoken through the prophets: “He shall be called a [a]Nazarene.” Now why is this verse
significant?
The name of the town Joseph
and Mary resided is Nazareth. Nazareth in Hebrew is Netzeret which translates to Branch Town! Jesus, Yeshua, The Messiah is a branch that came
through the line of David.
See how the Lord layers and
interweaves the Old testament with the new testament to prove over and over
again that he is the Alpha and Omega, he is the Beginning and the Ending!
John
15:5-8:
I am the Vine; you are the branches. The one who
remains in Me and I in him bears much fruit, for [otherwise] apart from Me [that is, cut off from
vital union with Me] you can do nothing. 6 If anyone does not remain in Me, he is thrown out
like a [broken
off] branch,
and withers and dies; and they gather such branches and throw
them into the fire, and they are burned. 7 If you remain in Me and My words remain in you [that is, if we are
vitally united and My message lives in your heart], ask whatever you wish and it will be done for
you. 8 My Father is glorified and honored
by this, when you bear much fruit, and prove yourselves to be My [true] disciples.
Now in the New
Testament where does the Holy Spirit land?
Luke 3:22:
And the Holy Spirit descended upon Him in bodily form like a dove,
and a voice came from heaven, saying, You are My Son, My Beloved! In You I am
well pleased and find delight!
Matthew 3:16-17:
After Jesus was baptized, He came up immediately
out of the water; and behold, the heavens were opened, and he (John) saw
the [a]Spirit of God descending as
a dove and lighting on Him (Jesus), 17 and behold, a [b]voice from heaven said,
“This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well-pleased and delighted!”
So If We Examine Noah Sending out the dove to REST
on the Branch and compare to the scriptures in Matthew and Luke, we get this:The Spirit of God, THE DOVE, is sent OUT (As Noah sent out the
dove) and Lands on THE BRANCH, YESHUA, Jesus. So in the Baptism of Jesus you have the Father, Son,
and Holy Spirit ALL converging in one place for a crucial event, the baptism of
Jesus which then launches Him into Ministry. Now lets deal with the Branch breaking part, because
you may be saying to yourselves” yes the dove landed but the branch was BROKEN,
and the dove returned.
Isaiah 53:5:
But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was crushed for our wickedness [our sin, our injustice,
our wrongdoing]; The punishment [required] for our well-being fell on
Him,
And by His stripes (wounds) we are healed. So after the Holy Spirit, Ruach Elohim, the dove, lands on THE BRANCH, YESHUSA, the next thing that happens is what is spoken of in Isaiah, Jesus’ Body is broken, is crucified
And by His stripes (wounds) we are healed. So after the Holy Spirit, Ruach Elohim, the dove, lands on THE BRANCH, YESHUSA, the next thing that happens is what is spoken of in Isaiah, Jesus’ Body is broken, is crucified
Luke
22:19:
And He took bread, gave
thanks and broke it, and
gave it to them, saying, “This is My body which is given for
you; do this in remembrance of Me.” So the Dove that Noah sent
out, who RESTED on the Branch, broke it and returned to its “Father” is
completely symbolic of Yeshua’s life and the events that transpired. And what happens after
Jesus, Yeshua is broken? He is raised from the DEAD and RETURNS to The Father.
Acts 1:9-12:
Now when He had spoken these things, while they
watched, He was taken up, and a cloud received Him out of their
sight. 10 And while they looked
steadfastly toward heaven as He went up, behold, two men stood by them in
white apparel, 11 who also said, “Men of
Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus,
who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you
saw Him go into heaven.”
Noah
sends out the third dove:
Genesis
8:12:
Then he waited another
seven days and sent out the dove, but she did not return to him again. So the third dove finds a
place to finally rest signaling the water has indeed receded enough that soon
they will exit the Ark. So what does the third
dove signify in the new testament? The day the Holy Spirit,
the comforter, is sent, THE DAY OF PENTECOST, to earth to land/rest upon the
disciples, those in the upper room and would rest upon those who came to know
Jesus as their Lord and Savior.
Acts 2:1-4:
When
the day of [a]Pentecost had come, they
were all together in one place, 2 and suddenly a sound came
from heaven like a rushing violent wind, and it filled the whole house where
they were sitting. 3 There appeared to them
tongues resembling fire, which were being distributed [among them], and they
rested on each one of them [as each person received the Holy Spirit]. 4 And they were all filled [that
is, diffused throughout their being] with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in
other [b]tongues (different
languages), as the Spirit was giving them the ability to speak out [clearly and
appropriately].
Now
we have the three doves, however, what was sent out first before the doves? The
Raven was sent out before the doves
A
raven is very dark, its completely black, they are meat eaters and scavengers,
so they eat the carcasses of dead animals
So
what could the raven represent? Perhaps Lucifer, satan, and why is that? Well
Lucifer was cast out from heaven like lightening, he was cast out before the
Lord created the earth so before Genesis 1:2 way before.
NOTE:Now
there is a verse in the book of Job where there Lord asks satan from where he
comes.
Job
2:1-2:
One day when the sons of God came to stand in front of the Lord, Satan the Accuser came along with
them.2 The Lord asked
Satan, “Where have you come from?” Satan answered the Lord,
“From wandering all over the earth.” That is exactly what the raven did it wandering to and from.
It’s
a staunch comparison, the raven, darkness, and the dove light. However ravens
were used to feed Elijah By the brook because ravens were indeed meat eaters
and scavengers, very easy for a bird like that to find meat, and under the
command of God bring it to Elijah to feed Him. Ravens
also happen to be arguably one of the smartest birds on the planet, highly
intelligent animals, that could also be a reason Noah sent the raven out first,
they are better in tough situations and solving a problem rather than a dove
who are very much innocent and lack in that area.
At
this point all the water has not dried up from the earth, but its has dried up
enough exposing the trees and areas for birds to perch that we know. The
time is coming where the water will completely dry up. To
show that the Lord knows the end from the beginning and the beginning from the ending. We
will cross reference the last book of the bible, the book of revelation.
Revelation 16:12:
Then the sixth [angel]
emptied his bowl on the mighty river Euphrates, and its water was dried up to
make ready a road for [the coming of] the kings of the east (from the rising
sun).
And
truly the enemy continues to roam too and fro until the events of revelation
happen that bind him up for 1000 years and then ends him up in the lake of fire
with his friend the anti Christ.
Genesis
8:13:
In the year 601 [of Noah’s
life], on the first day of the first month, the waters were drying up from the
land. And Noah [a]removed
the covering of the ark and looked, and behold, the surface of the ground was
drying. So the first month is Tishri so this is the 1st day of Tishri on the Hebrew calendar.
Genesis 8:14-16:
And on the twenty-seventh
day of the second month the land was entirely dry.15 And God spoke to Noah,
saying, 16 Go forth from the ark, you
and your wife and your sons and their wives with you. Cheshvan
is the 2nd month of the Hebrew calendar. So
the waters of the deep burst open cheshvan 17 and the waters completely dried
up and the land dry cheshvan 27 -370 days. There
is that 37, 73 combination we spoke of last time you see these two numbers
together a lot when the Lord does things. Now
in Hebrew you have gammatria which is assigning a numerical value to each
letter. You
also have this same method of assigning numerical value to letters in Greek. So
in Greek Jesus, Yeshua, the numerical value is 888. Now
why would this be relevant to all to Noah and the flood. Remember
I just told you Noah was in the ark 370 days? Well
remember the Lord was in the ark with Noah for that time and we know that God
is a God of numbers. 370 days in hours equals
8,880 hours they were in the ark with The Lord 888 in Greek.
Isn’t that so clever of
God to just put these fine details in that you totally miss if you just glaze
over the story.
Genesis 1:1:
In the
beginning God created the heavens and the earth. If we add up the numerical
value of this sentence you get 2701, 7 words equals 2701
Genesis 8:14:
And on
the twenty-seventh day of the second month the land was entirely dry. Okay so
here we have 8 words that also equals 2701. Now why
would these two have the same numerical value? Because
they are both beginnings! Noah’s
exit from the ark being a new beginning for the earth thus 8 words 8 being new
beginnings.
Now if we
look at 2701 backwards we get 1072= 1 God in 7 days Created the earth and
formed 2 people I think that is sort of clever as well don’t you looking at it
backwards and forwards.
Genesis
8:17-22:
Bring forth every living
thing that is with you of all flesh—birds and beasts and every creeping thing
that creeps on the ground—that they may breed abundantly on the land and be
fruitful and multiply upon the earth. 18 And Noah went forth, and
his wife and his sons and their wives with him [after being in the ark one year
and ten days]. 19 Every beast, every
creeping thing, every bird—and whatever moves on the land—went forth by
families out of the ark. 20 And Noah built an altar to
the Lord and took of every clean [four-footed] animal and of every clean
fowl or bird and offered burnt offerings on the altar. 21 When the Lord smelled the
pleasing odor [a scent of satisfaction to His heart], the Lord said to Himself,
I will never again curse the ground because of man, for the imagination (the
strong desire) of man’s heart is evil and wicked from his
youth; neither will I ever again smite and destroy every
living thing, as I have done. 22 While the earth remains, seed time and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, and day and night shall
not cease. (This means many could not destroy the earth even if we wanted to as
long as the earth remains.
The first things Noah does is build an altar to the Lord in praise and
thanksgiving for bringing them through such a harrowing ordeal and sparing them
when the rest of humanity perished. And
we see in verse 21 the Lord makes an oath a promise that he will never again
curse the ground because of man and will never again destroy and smite EVERY
living thing as had been done. So an event like this one will not happen again
where the earth is destroyed by flood.
Genesis
9:1-4:
And God pronounced
a blessing upon Noah and his sons and said to them, Be fruitful and multiply
and fill the earth. 2 And the
fear of you and the dread and terror of you shall be upon
every beast of the land, every bird of the air, all that creeps upon the
ground, and upon all the fish of the sea; they are delivered into your hand. 3 Every
moving thing that lives shall be food for you; and as I gave you the green
vegetables and plants, I give you everything.4 But you
shall not eat flesh with the life of it, which is its blood.
Now this
is a repeat of Genesis 1:28:
And God blessed them [granting them certain
authority] and said to them, “Be fruitful, multiply, and fill the earth, and
subjugate it [putting it under your power]; and rule over (dominate) the fish
of the sea, the birds of the air, and every living thing that moves upon the
earth. So this is a beginning
again, so the Lord is once again telling man to be fruitful and multiply Just
as he did back in Genesis 1.
This is also repeated in
Genesis 9:7:(Be fruitful and multiply)
Genesis 9:5-6:
The Lord lays down shall we say a few ground rules for man.
For your
lifeblood I will most certainly require an accounting; from every animal [that
kills a person] I will require it. And from man, from every man’s brother [that
is, anyone who murders] I will require the life of man.
Man is
made in God’s own image so the Lord will certainly not tolerate each other the
ruthless killing of each other, there is now a penalty to match that taking of
life.
Genesis
9:8-13: (here is the famous rainbow scene)
Then God spoke to Noah and to his sons with him,
saying, 9 “Now behold, I am establishing My covenant (binding
agreement, solemn promise) with you and with your descendants after you 10 and with every living creature that is with you—the birds,
the livestock, and the wild animals of the earth along with you, of everything
that comes out of the ark—every living creature of the earth. 11 I will establish My covenant with you: Never again shall all
flesh be cut off by the water of a flood, nor shall there ever again be a flood
to destroy and ruin the earth.” 12 And God said, “This is the token (visible symbol, memorial)
of the [solemn] covenant which I am making between Me and you and every living
creature that is with you, for all future generations; 13 I set My rainbow in the clouds, and it shall be a sign of a
covenant between Me and the earth.
The Lord is making this covenant with Noah, his descendants,
and all the beasts of the earth, that is a serious covenant, that never again
shall the Lord destroy every living thing on the earth and do it by water or
flood. here we see the beautiful rainbow as the LORDS SIGN of
this covenant.
Genesis 9:16-18:
When
the rainbow is in the clouds and I look at it, I will [solemnly] remember the
everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is
on the earth.” 17 And
God said to Noah, “This [rainbow] is the sign of the covenant (solemn pledge,
binding agreement) which I have established between Me and all living things on
the earth.”18 The
sons of Noah who came out of the ark were Shem and Ham and Japheth. Ham would
become the father of Canaan. Now after reading this do
we wonder why Lucifer high jacked the rainbow and perverted it as another
symbol using it as a false counterfeit covenant to make a certain group of
people indebted to him, having lord ship over them and they do not even realize
that is how much power they have given Lucifer and they are using a symbol that
he ripped off from God because he cant help himself and just wants to
counterfeit whatever the Lord does because of his embittered cast out of heaven
self. Lucifer was very calculating
in that he chose that to confuse people KEYWORD so that symbol would not be
associated with the Lord’s covenant but with the twists and turns of the
perversions of men.
Have an altar call to make
Jesus their Lord and savior!
